The opposing markers indicate a zone where the corridor's spatial orientation hasn't been fully resolved yet. The update locked in a route but the old route and the new route overlap in that section. You're technically in two versions of the corridor simultaneously. It's harmless for a few seconds of walking through. Lingering just means you're occupying both versions for longer. The battery thing is a known side effect. Electronics sometimes pick up ambient charge in spatially overlapping zones. It's not free energy, it's more like your phone is borrowing charge from the other version of your phone. The other version of your phone lost three minutes of battery. If you ever meet yourself in that section, you'll have that conversation.

Those are from the route update that went live last week. They were supposed to distribute updated charts before installation but of course that didn't happen. The blue markers indicate recalibrated drift points, basically spots where the corridor has shifted slightly and the route was adjusted. They sit lower because they're referenced to the new spatial baseline, not the old one. TL;DR: official, safe, follow them if the yellow ones and the blue ones disagree. The blue ones are more current.
