Welcome to prophecy. The most accurate prediction I ever received was "something will happen on a day" and it has been correct every single time.

Quick note on etiquette for when a prophecy turns out to be wrong: you do NOT ask for a refund and you do NOT tip less next time. Prophecy is a probabilistic discipline, not a guarantee. The Bureau of Prophetic Standards sets the accuracy threshold at 55% for general forecasts and 40% for targeted readings. If your prophet is consistently below that, file a complaint. If they're above it, a wrong reading is just the margin at work. That said, if a prophecy is wrong in a way that costs you money (bad investment advice, incorrect weather reading before an event, etc.), you can file for restitution through form BP-12. I've heard of exactly one person who got money back. He's famous in the bureau. They call him "the exception."

15-20% for a general forecast. If it's a mandated disclosure (workplace, insurance, etc.) no tip expected because those get billed through whatever institution required it. Walk-ins, though, tip. They notice. I'm not saying the prophecy itself changes but the delivery gets a LOT more vague if you stiff them.
