  • At least the civic center is honest about the damp carpet. It's right there in the lobby: "Notice: persistent moisture in the prophecy wing is under investigation. Readings are not affected." They've had that sign up for four years. I respect the transparency if not the timeline.

  • Save your money. The municipal prophecy desk at the civic center is free for residents, twice a year. Yes, the wait is long. Yes, the office smells like the carpet is damp and the carpet IS damp. But the municipal prophets are licensed and required to post their accuracy rating by the door. Last time I went, the prophet on duty was running a 71%, which isn't amazing but it's audited, which is more than Thessaly can say.
